I gather from some postings that people are successfully using the Exchange Calendar Connector in conjunction with a Notes 6 server. Happily I am not an Exchange expert, so please excuse my ignorance on the MS side.

It looks like the connector runs on the MS side and uses the libraries from a Notes client installation to interface with the Notes server. Are you using a Notes 5 client or Notes 6 client?

The Exchange admin I am working with says that the Calendar connector requires that that email connector be installed. We are already successfully exchanging messages via SMTP/MIME, so I'd really hate to change that unless I have to. As of 6.0.2, iCalendar format is working properly so meeting requests are working. Does the Exchange Calendar Connector require that the Exchange/Notes email connector be in place to exchange free/busy time information?

Any recommended reading? Most of what I have around talks about Notes 4.6, which doesn't give me a good feeling that I'm looking in the right place.

Thanks!
